BCS Bowl Predictions

1) Rose Bowl USC vs Illinois

IMO, the Illini do NOT belong in this bowl game. But since it is tradition that the Big 10 and the Pac 10 play in this game, we must adhere to it. This game is not even close, not even a little bit.

2) Sugar Bowl Hawaii vs Georgia

Georgia Head Coach Mark Richt has stopped whining about not being in the Title Game, but had better not overlook Hawaii. The Bulldogs have a great running game and QB Matthew Stafford has been adapting well this season. Colt Brennan has led a potent Hawaii Run and Shoot offense, but the Warriors defense is suspect. Hawaii has always come back against their opposition-but they are playing an SEC team, not La Tech or lowly Washington

3) Fiesta Bowl Oklahoma vs West Virginia

Oklahoma choked to Boise last year, but WVU is no Boise St. The Mountaineers are searching for a coach (read: Distracted!) and are listless. Oklahoma wants revenge and a motive for voters in the AP to declare them National Champs. The Sooners are playing the best out of anyone right now, and this game is the launching board for a big 2008. West Virginia hopes to NOT have Terry Bowden as its next coach.

Oklahoma 48 West Virginia 29

4) Orange Bowl Virginia Tech vs Kansas

The Hokies have had a very emotional year, as have the Jayhawks. But emotion can only carry you so far. Talent takes over in this one, as we have yet another BCS Blasting.

VT 35 Kansas 14
